The S2 is based on 10/22 technology. This is an advantage when it comes to finding magazines and allows for the end-user to have his own custom trigger groups. The S2 is highly modular accepting a variety of buttstocks and 2 types of pistol grips. The M1913 picatinny rail on the top allows for any sight, scope or irons to be attached. The A1 model is the less expensive version with the cocking handle on the right hand side, similar to the 10/22, AK47, Sig 55x etc. The cocking handle reciprocates with the bolt. The A2 model is slightly more expensive and has moved the cocking handle to the left hand side similar to the SCAR or MP5. The cocking handle is non-reciprocating. |
